A. InstaCash is the first App in Singapore which allows you to get an accurate quotation for your used smartphones within 60 seconds. Our friendly courier will pick-up your smartphone at a location of your convenience and cash is paid into your bank account on-the-spot!

A.InstaCash is available on both AppStore & Google PlayStore or just visit our website at getinstacash.com.sg to download our app.

A.There is no limit to the trade-in.

  • Only smartphones are accepted for InstaCash trade-in
  • You must be the legal owner of the trade-in device.
  • Your trade-in device must not be tied to any existing contract with Telcos.
  • The phone must not be network and IMEI blocked, reported as stolen or counterfeit
  • We only accept devices that are unlocked from iCloud and Google account.

A.Yes, we accept defective smartphones as long as you are able to install InstaCash and complete the diagnostic process. Price quotation would differ depending on the defects of your device

A.We aim to provide an accurate trade-in value based on the diagnostic results and declaration of device conditions InstaCash App. Our courier shall then verify the device condition at the point of pick-up and provide you with finalised trade-in value. Should there be a change in price offer, you may decide whether to go through with the trade-in transaction.

  • Login the “InstaCash” App using phone number or your email address.
  • Click on “Start Trade-in” to diagnose your device.
  • Complete a series of tests to assess the functionalities of your device.
  • Declare the physical and screen conditions of your device
  • Place an order and enter your personal details for pick up
  • Enter your bank account details for payment from InstaCash
  • Submit your order.
  • InstaCash Customer Service will contact you within 24 hours upon placement of order.

A.You will be contacted by our customer service within 24 hours upon placement of InstaCash order on a weekday. Weekend orders shall be contacted on the next working day.

A.Your trade-in payment will be made into your bank account immediately upon pick-up of your trade-in device.

  • Back up your data such as contacts and important files that you do not want to lose.
  • Ensure that SIM and any memory cards are removed before handing over trade-in device. Any SIM or memory cards found will be dest royed to ensure that your personal information remains secured.
  • For iPhones, remove your Apple ID and passcode.
  • For Androids, remove your Google Account from your device. Ensure that you have disabled any security lock settings on your device as well.
  • Do not delete or factory reset your device before our courier arrives for the pick-up. The InstaCash App is still required as part of the pick-up process.

  • Your device will undergo a Data Erasure process (complies with International Standard DoD 5220.22-M) to ensure all data is permanently deleted and unrecoverable.
  • Any personal data left in the device will not be recoverable.

A.Your traded-in device will be refurbished, recycled and resold.

A.Yes, you may walk-in to any of our CompAsia stores or our partner store. To find out the nearest store located to you, please contact our customer support at +603 7931 3417.

A.No, we only need your device.

A.We will need to snap a picture of your IC/license to protect InstaCash against stolen devices or blacklisted devices if the needs rise.

A.What did you declare for the physical condition of your device? If it is all flawless, you probably might have failed a few functional test.

A.Just swipe your finger across the white box until it turned green, if it doesn’t turn green probably your touch screen might be damaged.

A.Wave your hand across the front camera of your device.

A.Please ensure your device rotation function is enabled. Tilt your device to landscape mode and tilt it back to portrait mode.

A.Ensure that your fingerprint is registered to your device. Just place your registered finger on the fingerprint scanner.

iOS : Ensure that your Wi-Fi is connected to a Wi-Fi network and Bluetooth & Location Service enabled for InstaCash.
